Over-Dimensional freight can move on a number of trailers such as RGN, Step Deck, Flatbed and others. Over Dimensional loads require carriers who provide proper licensing and permits with state governments to ensure the freight travels safely on correct routes. Many over-dimensional loads require police escorts or pole cars in certain areas of the country.
